This incident caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park.

An additional two individuals have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals were injured by a substance believed to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

These detentions follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was among the injured during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for treatment and have since been discharged.

Police detained a 31-year-old man for suspected robbery and assault close to the scene. He was subsequently released pending further inquiries as the investigation proceeds.

Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT after reports came in regarding several individuals hurt by a noxious substance thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - caused delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the T3 parking facility briefly.
